Anyone got any tips on pricing art commissions? I’ve just started to get a couple people asking for drawing commissions lately (which is super awesome!!) but I really don’t know the first thing about how to price them. Figured out why my tags weren’t working.. I had checked “NSFW” in my settings since sometimes I’ll have nude drawings like the Sea Witch. Tried unchecking it and now my tags show up. Guess I’ll leave that unchecked so I’m not locked up in some tumblr-reject corner D:<!

How have I lived without you until now, glorious Paint Tool SAI? The stabilizer option is wondrous and coloring is actually funnn. Still gotta move it over to the ol’ Shoops for some things, but at least it’s easy to move back and forth. Ok, back to coloring ice cream girls.

Wonderful article on the importance behind the prices of hand-made items. Would be a great read for, say, everyone, but particularly everyone who has ever tried to commission me and told me I was charging too much (which is 80% of people).
